Description

Yoredale is an early 19th-century cottage located on the north side of Village Street in Thornton Rust. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high with two first-floor windows. Quoins are visible on the right-hand side. A central part-glazed door is set within an ashlar surround. The windows are sash windows with ashlar sills and sill-like lintels. Stacks are positioned centrally and at the right end. The cottage is included on the list for its group value.
