Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the north side of Village Street in Thornton Rust. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys, featuring three first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door framed by an ashlar surround. The cottage has 4-pane sash windows and chimney stacks positioned between the first and second bays, as well as at the right end. This building is included in the listing for its group value with nearby structures.
