Description

The Feathers is an early 19th century cottage located on the south side of West Street in Helpston. The building is constructed of coursed stone rubble and has a slate roof with gabled ends. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor windows are set within segmental stone arches. A central doorway has been blocked and replaced with a narrow window. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the building. The property is included on the listing for its group value.
