Description

No. 9 West Street is an early to mid 19th-century cottage constructed from coursed stone rubble and topped with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The building stands two storeys tall and has one range of windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The left-hand doorway is adorned with a rectangular fanlight and a door that has gothic panels. There is a re-used tablet inscribed with "G R and F 1872". The cottage also has yellow brick end stacks. It is included in the listing for its group value.
