Description
The well-head, located approximately 150 yards north of Flass House, was built around 1850 as a garden feature when the house was reconstructed for Wilkinson Dent. It is made of rusticated ashlar stone with hammer-dressing and sits on a moulded plinth. The structure is circular in shape, standing about 5 feet 6 inches high, and features a corniced, domical top. A curved wooden door, designed to resemble masonry, provides access to the interior.
