Description

Riverside Cottage is a former mill manager's house, now a residential property, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. Facing the stream, there are sash windows with glazing bars, all set in plain stone surrounds. The nearly central entrance consists of a 6-panel door, also in a plain stone surround, topped with a flat stone hood.
