Description

White House is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has three storeys and three bays. The central opening features a segmental arch with rubble voussoirs and has been partly infilled to create a front door. The window openings appear to have been altered, with sashes that have glazing bars on the ground and first floors, and 9-pane unequally-hung sashes on the second floor. There are end stacks. This house served as the Manager's house for Yore Mill and is included for its group value.
