Description
Barden Scale Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse built from ashlar and rubblestone, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring quoins. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door set in a chamfered surround with a basket-arched lintel. To the left and in the central bay, there are double-chamfered 4-light windows, while the right bay has a similar window with 2 lights. All these openings are adorned with a continuous hoodmould. On the first floor, the left and central bays have double-chamfered 3-light windows, and the right bay has a similar window with 2 lights. The farmhouse has end stacks and one ridge stack.
