Description
Robson House, byre and dairy is a late 18th-century farmhouse that combines a house, byre, and dairy under one roof. It is constructed from coursed watershot sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, with the house located in the center, which includes two first-floor windows. The openings are framed with ashlar sandstone surrounds. There is a central 20th-century four-panel door with splayed bases to the jambs set on a plinth. The windows on the ground floor are four-pane sash windows, and these have weather courses above them. The building has end stacks.
To the left of the house is the byre, which has a boarded door accessed by steps and a ground floor six-pane window. On the right side is the dairy, featuring a four-pane window to the left, a boarded door in a stone surround to the right, and one first-floor window similar to those in the house.
