Description
Low Houses Farmhouse and Dairy is a building dating from 1840, featuring a farmhouse and dairy under one roof. It is constructed from coursed watershot, hammer-faced stone with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an outshut at the rear. The farmhouse section has two bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars, projecting lintels, and sills. The central doorway contains a 6-panel door, which has a panel inscribed with 'J. Harker. Erected in the Year 1840'. There are end stacks on either side. The dairy, located on the right, has a boarded door and a window on the first floor. The right gable end features steps leading up to a first-floor doorway.
