Description
This footbridge, located approximately 160 yards north of Flass House, was built as a feature for an enlarged garden, likely in the late 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed ashlar and features margined, rough-dressed voussoirs. The bridge has a single segmental arch that spans about 25 feet, supported by cutwaters. There are two small semicircular arches over tributaries on the west bank and one on the east bank. A 20th-century handrail with cast-iron end posts is also present. The footbridge is included for its group value.
