Description

The Pump on the green in East Witton is a former water pump dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a plain base with two large vertical slabs that once supported spouts. At the top, there is a pyramidal cap resting on a torus cornice. The pump is built over a reservoir located beneath the village green.
