Description

The Hempstead Village Pump is a village pump, likely dating from the early 19th century. It stands about five feet tall and features a brick panelled pier, which is currently painted, set on a brick plinth. At the top, there is a pyramidal stone cap adorned with a gold-painted acorn finial. An iron waterspout directs water into an adjoining stone basin.
