Description

Three terraced houses, dating from the late 18th century, are located on Hillary Terrace in Reeth, Fremington and Healaagh. The houses are constructed of coursed rubble, with a whitewashed pebbledash finish on No. 3, and have stone slate roofs. They are three storeys high, with five windows on the first floor. No. 3 has a half-glazed door set within a chamfered stone surround featuring a depressed arch. Nos. 2 and 1 have half-glazed and glazed doors respectively, sharing a 20th-century porch. All windows are four-pane sashes set within flush wooden architraves. The buildings have gable coping, shaped kneelers, and corniced end and ridge stacks.
