Description

The Congregational Church in Reeth was built in 1866 and is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a Welsh slate roof. The church features a five-bay nave and a single-bay chancel, with a parish room located at the rear. The gable end faces the street, showcasing a double board door that has decorative wrought-iron hinges and is set beneath a pointed arch with a roll-moulded hoodmould. On either side of the door are trefoil-headed single-light windows. To the right, there is a stepped buttress. Above the door, a four-light window with Geometric-style tracery is present, along with a clock and a bellcote above it. The church is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
