Description
No 20 Southover High Street is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It has a rendered exterior sitting on a plinth, a low-pitched slate roof, and a tall brick chimney located near the right end of the roof. The building has two storeys with an irregular arrangement of windows: three on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all of which are glazing bar sashes. On the first floor, there is a pair of sashes, with the left-hand one being blind. On the ground floor to the right, there is a tripartite sash window. The central entrance features a boarded door that is accessed by two steps and is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets. This house is included for its group value with other nearby buildings.
