Description

No. 44 Southover High Street is an 18th-century house. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor features tile hanging. It has boxed eaves and a plain tiled roof, which includes a stack on the left and a single gabled dormer. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. The windows are sash style, with the leftmost window being very narrow and consisting of only one light. To the right, there is a recessed panelled door that has a transom light above it, with boarded reveals and simple pilastered reveals topped by an open triangular pediment.
