Description

Old Forge Cottage, formerly known as Pear Tree Cottage, is a cottage that dates mainly from the late 18th century. It features brick walls constructed in English bond, with cambered openings on the ground floor and a cement plinth. Some walls are rendered, and there is a small section of flintwork. The cottage has a tiled roof and a south-west front elevation that is two storeys high with three windows. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway located beneath an open porch. This porch has a concave hipped leaded roof supported by slender cast iron columns.
