Description

This stable block, located 20 meters northwest of Kings Worthy Grove, dates from around 1830. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a slate roof. The building consists of three sections, with a central block that is 1½ stories high and has two bays. The central stable door is topped by a rectangular fanlight, and there are 20th-century cross windows on either side, all with segmental heads. The pediment above the central block has a moulded brick architrave and a bulls-eye window in the center. Each side of the stable block has a carriage shed, which includes a brick end wall and double doors, with the roof sloping forward.
