Description

Bridge Cottage is a cottage dating to 1796, located in East Meon. The front wall is constructed of malmstone, while the other walls are of flint with brick quoins and bands. The roof is thatched, with slate to the rear catslide and outshots. The symmetrical south front features two storeys and two windows, with casement windows. A 20th-century boarded and half-glazed porch with a tile roof is situated at the front, leading to a plain doorway. A stone date plaque and a Sun fire insurance sign are also visible on the front. A single-storeyed extension with a hipped slate roof and corrugated iron walls extends from the west side of the cottage.
