Description
Compton Cottage is a late 18th and early 19th century cottage located in East Meon. It has walls of painted brickwork, with the front and west elevations tile-hung, and a hipped tile roof. The symmetrical south elevation features two storeys and two windows, with casement windows. A plain doorway, sheltered by a tiled hood, is positioned in the west elevation and contains a six-panelled door with two glazed panels at the top. An outshot at the rear is constructed of Malmstone.
