Description
This is an early 19th-century cottage pair, numbers 7 and 9 Sun Street, in Lewes. The cottages are built with grey headers and red brick dressings, and have a slate roof with chimney stacks on the right and in the centre, along with two flat-headed dormers. They are two storeys and have attics. The front has a two-window arrangement, with glazing bar sash windows in dressed surrounds that have segment heads. Segment-headed surrounds are also present above the doorways to the left of each ground-floor window; these doorways have flush panelled doors. The cottages are listed for their group value.
