Description
This is an early to mid-19th century cottage pair, located in Sun Street, Lewes. The building is constructed of grey brick with headers, and features red brick quoins and dressings. A diaper pattern is present between the first floor windows. The roof is slate, with end ridge stacks and two small, flat-roofed dormers. The cottages are two storeys high, with an attic, and have two-window frontages. The windows have glazing bar sashes set within segment-headed red brick surrounds. A central round-arched doorway has panelled doors, flanked by another slightly lower round-arched doorway with a boarded door leading to a yard at the rear. The building is included on the listing for its group value.
