Description

This is an early 19th-century pair of cottages located at 3 and 5 Sun Street, Lewes. The cottages are constructed of grey headers with red brick dressings and have a slate roof, featuring an end stack on the left and a rear stack on the right. There are two flat-headed dormers, which were rebuilt in the later 20th century. The two-storey, two-window front features glazing bar sashes in segment-headed dressed surrounds. Boarded doors are set within segment-headed surrounds on both sides, with a round-arched entrance leading to an alleyway to the rear on the left. The cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
