Description

Mornington House, formerly known as Hill View, is a house dating from around 1800, with a 20th-century extension designed to match the original style. The building features brick walls laid in English bond and a hipped tile roof. The symmetrical northwest front elevation has two storeys and three windows, with a slightly projecting south side extension that includes one window. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. There is a simple porch supported by two slender columns, leading to a plain doorway with a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed. Inside, there is a staircase.
