Description

Jeffries Cottages is a house, originally three dwellings, dating back to the 17th century with extensions from the 18th century and 20th-century restoration work. The timber frame is exposed on most of the front elevation and the north gable, featuring brick infill between the timbers, all above a stone base. The outer walls are constructed of brick and malmstone with brick dressings. The roof is thatched with a catslide at the rear and eyebrow dormers. The front (east) elevation has one storey and an attic, featuring five windows on the ground floor and seven above. The windows are casements. There are two half-glazed doors, and another doorway that has been filled in with brickwork.
