Description

Little Bere Farmhouse is a house, originally comprising two dwellings, dating back to the 17th century. It was renovated in the late 20th century. The house exhibits a timber frame construction, with the frame mostly visible in the upper part of the building. The infill between the timbers is a mix of painted brick and plaster, set onto a cement plinth. The roof is thatched, with a hipped shape at the south end and a half-hipped shape at the north, and features eyebrow dormers with tiled roofs. The north-east facing front elevation has five windows in the upper part, alongside two dormers above six windows. The windows are 20th-century casements. Two 20th-century porches are present, constructed with brick and timber frame detailing.
