Description

Maypoles is a house dating from around 1700, with renovations made around 1900 and again in the late 20th century after a fire in 1963. The building features a timber frame with exposed framing on three sides, a jetty at the north end, and a front made of brickwork in English bond with a high plinth, along with a small area of 20th-century stonework. It has a tile roof and is L-shaped, with the south elevation being two storeys high and featuring five windows above four. The windows are 20th-century casements. There is a recessed porch with arched timber framing. Inside, the exposed frame shows evidence of several alterations.
