Description

Manor Farm Cottage is a house that was formerly two cottages, dating from the early 17th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed in the upper part at the front, while the other walls are rendered. The roof is tiled and half-hipped at the ends, with sloping roofs over the dormers. The north front elevation has one storey and an attic with two windows, and there is a single-storeyed service wing, added in the 20th century, projecting at the east side with one window. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway with an open porch supported by posts that hold up the extended roof. Inside, the cottage has massive framing and includes a beam that is dated 1612.
