Description

South View Cottage and No. 1, formerly Manor Farm Cottages, are two cottages dating from the 17th century. They feature a timber frame with early 19th-century cladding, an extension, and subdivision. The exposed frame is partially visible, with brick infill, while other walls are constructed of brick in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with the walls of South View painted. Some openings are cambered. The cottages have a tile roof and sloping roofs on the dormers. The east front elevation is one storey with an attic, containing three above four windows, which are casements. The doors are boarded and set in a coupled plain frame beneath a cambered arch.
