Description
The White Lion Inn is a public house that dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features walls made of painted brickwork in header bond, with a plinth, a first-floor band, cambered openings, and brick dentil eaves. Other walls are constructed in painted brickwork in English bond. The building has a tile roof, which has lower eaves at the rear and varying levels on the rear wing. The main structure has a house form, with mid-19th century extensions to the rear and a 20th-century extension on the side. The north front elevation is two storeys high with two windows, while the west side has a single-storey wing. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway.
