Description

Fir Trees is a house dating from the 17th century, featuring a timber frame with 20th-century renovations and an extension. The building has an exposed frame with painted brick infill and a thatched roof, which is half-hipped at the east end, hipped at the west, and has a catslide at the rear with dormers. The front projection is gabled. The north front includes a projecting entrance wing, which is of a later date. The house is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 2-1-1, with 20th-century casements. The entrance features a boarded door beneath a tiled canopy.
