Description

This late 18th century granary and cartshed is located 40 metres north-north-east of Avington Farm Cottages, positioned alongside the roadside. The structure features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and set on brick walls, topped with a slate roof that has an iron sheet ridge. The granary consists of three bays raised above a cartshed, which also has three bays, and includes timber steps along the right end. The roof is hipped. This building is part of a farm group.
