Description

This small barn, located 30 metres west of Burgates Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame consisting of three and a half bays, with straight struts supporting the trusses. The walls are boarded and sit above a rubble base. The roof is hipped and tiled, with lower eaves over the end half-bay. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
