Description
This small water mill, located 10 metres south-west of Soberton Mill House, dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. It features brick walls constructed in English bond with cambered openings and has a tiled roof. The building is a rectangular block with four levels, including two in the roof. It appears single-storeyed from the south-east side, which has a massive doorframe and a boarded door. From the north-west side, it appears as two storeys, with three windows above two. The race has brick side walls and runs beneath the house forecourt in a channel to the north of the mill building. The south-west gable displays openings at all four levels.
