Description

This is a milepost located 400 yards south-west of Winstermoor Farm, dating from the late 18th century. It is a wedge-shaped stone milestone with a rounded top. The north face of the milepost indicates a distance of 7 miles to Bakewell, while the south face shows a distance of 10 miles to Ashbourne.
