Description
Tagnaze Farmhouse and the attached barn, now both used as barns, date from the late 17th century and 18th century. They are constructed from rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has an L-plan layout.
On the south elevation, the farmhouse is on the left, featuring a central doorway with a chamfered lintel and quoins, along with a plank door. This doorway is flanked by two 2-light square section flush mullion windows. Above, there are two similar but smaller windows. The barn is located to the right and includes a cart entrance and one upper opening. The rear elevation has three 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows, along with a single-storey outshut.
