Description
Crowden Lea is a house dating from the early 18th century, situated in the parish of Edale. It is constructed of coursed gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, and has a plain tile roof with stone coped gables, incorporating moulded kneelers. Stone ridge and two gable end stacks are also present. The south elevation has three bays. A C20 lean-to porch, with a C20 door, is positioned off-centre. To the left of the porch is a 2-light square section flush mullion window, followed by a similar 3-light window, and then another 3-light window. The upper floor mirrors this arrangement with 2 and 3-light windows respectively. All windows have leaded lights.
