Two storeys with attics to southern range, L-plan form. The entrance front comprises six bays to the garden and three bays to the entrance. The entrance front has an advanced central gabled bay with semi-circular arch with long keystone, positioned off-centre to the east, sheltering studded wooden double doors with long leaded side lights. To the east is a single storey bay with a 3-light flush mullion window, and beyond a square tower set in the corner between south and east ranges with a semi-circular doorcase. To the west of the central bay is a recessed section with a large central external stack featuring a small leaded window, and between the stack and central bay a single storey bay with plain doorcase and another small leaded window. Beyond the stack to the west is a circular window with four keystones. Above the central bay are two 2-light flush mullion windows flanking a semi-circular keystoned niche containing a statuette on a carved corbel. To the east, a 4-light flush mullion timber window has rendered panels either side, and the tower beyond has a double transomed 4-light grid-like window to the west and a similar 2-light window to the north. Immediately above, set at an angle, is a metal clock face. To the west, the external stack has angled sections either side with small leaded windows. The eastern range has a mixture of 2 and 3-light flush mullioned windows and a gabled bay to the north.
The garden front has an advanced bay window to the west with a 5-light chamfered mullion and transomed window, and to the east a large semi-circular verandah with fluted columns. Behind, the facade has a flush quoined doorcase with lintel inscribed 'Deus Nobis Hec Ottia Fecit 1911', adjoining to the east a single light chamfered transomed window with similar 2-light and single light windows beyond. An advanced gabled bay with a 4-light chamfered mullion and transomed window with hoodmould lies to the east, and beyond are two 2-light similar windows with continuous hoodmould. Above the bay window to the west are 2-light chamfered mullion windows either side of a recessed doorcase with plank door. To the east are a 3-light and a 4-light chamfered mullion window and similar four 4-light window with hoodmould in an advanced bay, with a similar 2-light window with hoodmould above in the gable. Beyond to the east are four semi-circular headed arches, three blocked with a pattern of brick, tile and stone rubble, and the third arch to the east with leaded light. At the extreme east is a 2-light chamfered mullion window. The east gable has chamfered mullion and transomed windows, whilst the east range has 2, 3 and 4-light flush mullion windows.
Attached to the north end is a pair of double wooden gates curving upwards to the centre, linking the house to a garage of gritstone rubble with green slate roof. The garage has enlarged double doors to the west with chequerwork of red brick and gritstone above in the gable.
The interior retains original panelling and a 18th century style dogleg staircase, together with an original green marble Arts and Crafts style fireplace with leaded lintel decorated with Daniel in the Lions Den. Plasterwork Zodiac bosses ornament the ceiling of the sitting room.
