This guide post, dating from the 18th century, is located at OS265776 in the parish of Baslow and Bubnell. It features a square gritstone shaft that stands about three feet tall. The post is inscribed with directional information: "DRONFIELD ROAD" to the east, "BAKEWELL ROAD" to the south, "TIDESWALL ROAD" to the west, and "SHEFFIELD ROAD" to the north.
