Description

SK 27 NW PARISH OF NETHER PADLEY 1/19 12.7.67 Nether Padley Farmhouse (Formerly listed as Farmhouse near Sewage Works GV II Farmhouse. c1800. Regularly coursed squared gritstone on a shallow plinth with coped gables, plain eaves band, and ashlar ridge stacks, that to north west end wider than that to south east, with Welsh and stone slates. 'L' plan, with main range double pile, and lower pitched roof range to north east. South west elevation three storeys, three bays, with 2-light flush mullioned windows with C19 glazing bar sashes. Plain band courses link cills to ground and first floor openings. South east elevation to street has moulded doorcase with semi-circular arched head with shallow bracketed flat hood above. Six panelled door with semi-circular fanlight above.
