Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800, constructed from coursed rubble stone with flush ashlar dressings and stone slate hipped roofs. It features broad stacks with battered bases on the south end wall and the northwest rear wall, along with one ridge stack. This tall, 3-storey L-plan farmhouse is notable for its unusual scale, complete with a plinth, band, and moulded eaves cornice. The building has paired sash windows, with 12 panes on the main floors and 9 panes on the top floor. The south-facing elevation has a two-window range, while the west-facing elevation has a three-window range, and there is a small enclosed ashlar porch at the angle. The south end wall is blank and has a large stack, while the long east wall features a wide-spaced four-window range and three ground floor doors located between the window bays. There is also a slate lean-to against the left side.
