Description

The dovecote located to the rear of Glebe House dates from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar quoins and features a stone slate gabled roof topped with a short pyramid-capped stone-slated lantern. The dovecote is raised on a basement and has a depressed-arched entry on the south side. On the east side, there are external stairs leading up to a door set in an ashlar lean-to porch. The south side includes a casement window and a small apex opening in the gable.
