Description

The entrance gates and piers to Church House, dating from the early 19th century, are located at the former rectory in Grittleton. The structure features three ashlar piers that have moulded caps and bases, along with raised gate-stops adorned with scroll heads. The gates consist of spearhead iron double gates and a single pedestrian gate, which includes closer-spaced dog-bars and a quatrefoil band positioned below the lower spearheads.
