Guide pillar. C19, lettering recut C20. Gritstone, approximately 16 in. square and 3 ft high with shallow pyramidal top. Lettering in recessed bands with original direction-indicating fingers above and below. The pillar is now displaced (June 1984). Correctly orientated, the directions given should read:
