Description
The stable block, now used as farm buildings, dates from the mid 19th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features Welsh slate roofs. The stone coped gables have moulded kneelers and square finials, with two stone gable end stacks on the north side. The building has two storeys, and the south elevation is divided into three sections. The central section projects and has a coped and castellated parapet that conceals the mono-pitched roof. On each side, there are gabled bays that are set back, each with a single upper opening that has a segmental head. The ground floor has irregular doors and windows, but these are now obscured by a lean-to yard added in the 1950s, which has no architectural interest. The stable block is listed for its group value with the Manor House.
