Description
The Pack Horse Inn is a public house that dates from the late 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed from rubble limestone with stone dressings that are painted black. The building features a Welsh slate roof with stone coped gables and plain kneelers, along with a brick gable end stack and two brick ridge stacks.
The inn is two storeys high with a south elevation that has four bays. The two bays on the right are symmetrical, featuring a central doorway with a stone lintel and two steps leading up. This doorway is flanked by two 2-light square section flush mullion windows. Above, there are two similar windows. The left-hand two bays contain a central doorway with a rock-faced lintel. To the right is a 2-light square section flush mullion window, while to the left there is a pair of 20th-century plank garage doors. Above these, there are two glazing bar sashes with rock-faced sills.
