Description
Manor House is a house from the 17th century that was altered in the early 18th century. It is built of rubble limestone with gristone dressings and has a stone slate roof featuring stone coped gables with ball finials and moulded kneelers. The house has two moulded stone ridge stacks and two gable end stacks. It is two storeys high and has an H-plan layout. The south elevation consists of three bays, with angle quoins and a plain flat string course connecting the lintels of the windows on both floors. The central bay is recessed and features a lean-to verandah supported by two columns. On the right, there is a doorway with a panelled door, and to the left, a pair of 19th-century plain sash windows set in a stone surround, divided by a mullion. Above, there is a four-light square section flush mullion window. The right-hand gabled bay has two plain sash windows on the ground floor, also set in a stone surround and divided by a stone mullion, with a two-light square section flush mullion window above. The left gabled bay is similar to the right.
