Description
This is a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century, located on the south side of Main Street opposite Winster House. They are constructed from rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and feature quoins, coped gables, and end ridge stacks, with the stack at the east end made of stone. The houses rise three storeys and have two bays, with glazing bar sash windows set into stone surrounds. There are coupled doorways in the center, each with quoined surrounds and massive lintels. The doors are from the 20th century, with one being panelled and the other half glazed, both featuring a rectangular overlight with glazing bars. These houses are listed for their group value.
