Description

This is a mid-19th century house attached to the south of Kirkby House and an attached shop. It is built of regularly coursed gritstone and features projecting quoins, a moulded eaves cornice, coped gables, and moulded kneelers. The house has ashlar end ridge stacks and plain and beaver tailed tiles laid in alternating bands. It has an 'L' plan and is two storeys high with three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in plain stone frames beneath hoodmoulds with stops. There is a 20th-century half-glazed door. This building is included for its group value only.
